Disability, a health problem in Bangladesh, has evoked fear among people for a long time. The adversities suffered by disabilities patients are multifaceted ranging from medical, social and psychological to economy aspects.

Family members of the mostly poor patients are also victimized due to stigma over the bad condition, the patients and their family members faced discrimination in the society, which resulted in violation of their human rights. The disability issue deserves due attention.

“In Bangladesh about more disable patients are detected annually in last few years. We can achieves success in early case detection by community participation for which vigorous information. It is needed to carry out awareness campaign an disability and detect disable problem across the country in our country. But these activities are being hampered due to lack of adequate manpower “.

The population of Bangladesh in was 4.51 crores that increased to 16,21 crores by 2017(estimated) indicating by 4 times increase. This massive and quick growth population took place due to health consciousness. Local and foreign NGOs that are working to aid disabilities program for the community of Bangladesh. We are Jibon O Jibika (NGO) one of them and eagerly to our contribution provide to smoothly & widely with local and international stakeholder, government and non government organizations.

We should work tirelessly to eradicate related disabilities by not just providing medical interventions and support, but by rehabilitating individuals and families of those affected by physical problem.

It should be our mission to provide accessible and quality disabilities services including rehabilitation and continue to provide such services as long as and wherever needed.
